Job summary

Premier Inn is hiring a Kitchen Team Member at Milton Keynes Central. You’ll help prepare, cook and serve meals as part of the hotel dining team, with responsibilities that cover breakfast and dinner service.

The role emphasises teamwork, reliability and a can-do attitude, with full training provided. The position offers 26 contracted hours per week under a permanent contract, with a pay rate up to £13.06 per hour.

Kitchen Team Member – Milton Keynes Central Premier Inn

This isn’t just about cooking.

One minute you could be preparing breakfast before guests wake up. The next you’ll be helping the team through a busy dinner service.

Pay, hours and location

Pay: Up to £13.06 per hour

Contract:Permanent – we don’t do zero-hours contracts.

Hours: 26 contracted hours per week.

Location: Secklow Gate West, Central Milton Keynes, Bucks, MK9 3BZ

Shifts:Includes evenings, weekends and busy guest periods.

What you’ll do

As a Kitchen Team Member you’ll help make sure every guest gets a meal they’ll enjoy. You’ll:

• Prepare ingredients before service starts
• Cook and plate meals during breakfast and dinner service
• Help keep the kitchen clean, organised and ready for the next rush

This isn't a role where you’ll spend your shift hidden in the back washing up.

You’ll be part of a team that’s working together to deliver the meals our guests rely on.

You don’t need hotel experience

Some of our best Kitchen Team Members joined us from supermarkets, cafés, pubs, restaurants, warehouses and customer service jobs.

If you’re willing to learn, we’ll teach you the rest.

You might have worked as a:

• Catering Assistant
• Barista
• Kitchen Porter
• Retail Assistant
• Warehouse Operative

This could be your first kitchen job or you may have worked in hospitality before.

What matters most is that you're reliable, enjoy working with others and don’t mind rolling your sleeves up when things get busy.
