Job summary

Premier Inn Marlborough is seeking a Kitchen Team Member to support breakfast and dinner service in Marlborough. You’ll prepare ingredients, cook and plate meals, and work as part of a busy hotel kitchen team.

We offer a permanent contract with guaranteed hours, training from day one, and benefits including staff discounts. Shifts include evenings, weekends, and peak guest periods, with up to 25 hours per week at a rate up to £13.06 per hour.

Qualifications

• Experience in kitchen or hospitality roles preferred.
• Able to work evenings, weekends and busy periods.
• Reliable, team-oriented and able to stay calm during busy service.

Responsibilities

• Prepare ingredients before service starts.
• Cook and plate meals during breakfast and dinner service.
• Keep the kitchen clean and organised for the next rush.
• Receive deliveries and manage stock.
• Work closely with the hotel team to ensure smooth service.

Kitchen Team Member - Marlborough Premier Inn

This isn't just about cooking.

You'll help prepare, cook and serve meals that become part of someone's stay at Premier Inn because a good meal can make a great stay even better.

One minute you could be preparing breakfast before guests wake up. The next you'll be helping the team through a busy dinner service.

Pay, hours and location

Pay: Up to £13.06 per hour

Hours: 25 contracted hours per week.

Location: Jennings Road, Marlborough, Wiltshire, SN8 4WL

Shifts:Includes evenings, weekends and busy guest periods.

What you'll do

As a Kitchen Team Member you'll help make sure every guest gets a meal they'll enjoy. You'll:

• Prepare ingredients before service starts
• Cook and plate meals during breakfast and dinner service
• Help keep the kitchen clean, organised and ready for the next rush
• Receive deliveries and keep stock where it should be
• Work closely with the hotel team so service runs smoothly
• Help make sure every meal leaves the kitchen looking right

This isn't a role where you'll spend your shift hidden in the back washing up.

You'll be part of a team that's working together to deliver the meals our guests rely on.

Some of our best Kitchen Team Members joined us from supermarkets, cafés, pubs, restaurants, warehouses and customer service jobs.

If you're willing to learn, we'll teach you the rest.

You might have worked as a:

• Catering Assistant
• Barista
• Retail Assistant
• Warehouse Operative

This could be your first kitchen job or you may have worked in hospitality before.

What matters most is that you're reliable, enjoy working with others and don't mind rolling your sleeves up when things get busy.
