Job summary

Premier Inn in Honiton is seeking a Kitchen Team Member to support breakfast and dinner service. The role is permanent with 25 contracted hours per week, based at Turks Head Lane, Honiton. Pay is up to £13.06 per hour. The team works evenings and weekends to ensure guests receive quality meals during their stay.

This is a hands-on kitchen role where you will prepare ingredients, cook, plate meals and help with stock and deliveries. Full training is provided.

• Willing to learn and adapt to the kitchen environment.
• No hotel experience required; transferable hospitality experience welcomed.

We're currently recruiting in our Honiton Premier Inn. Working 25 hours per week, paying up to £13.06 per hour.

Kitchen Team Member – Honiton Premier Inn

This Isn’t Just About Cooking.

You’ll help prepare, cook and serve meals that become part of someone’s stay at Premier Inn because a good meal can make a great stay even better.

One minute you could be preparing breakfast before guests wake up. The next you’ll be helping the team through a busy dinner service.

If you enjoy working as part of a team and seeing the results of your work straight away, this could be the role for you.

Pay, hours and location

Pay: Up to £13.06 per hour

Contract: Permanent – we don’t do zero-hours contracts.

Hours: 25 contracted hours per week.

Location: Turks Head Lane, Honiton, Devon, EX14 1BQ

Shifts: Includes evenings, weekends and busy guest periods.

What You’ll Do

• Prepare ingredients before service starts
• Cook and plate meals during breakfast and dinner service
• Help keep the kitchen clean, organised and ready for the next rush
• Receive deliveries and keep stock where it should be
• Work closely with the hotel team so service runs smoothly

This isn't a role where you’ll spend your shift hidden in the back washing up.

You’ll be part of a team that’s working together to deliver the meals our guests rely on.

You Don’t Need Hotel Experience

Some of our best Kitchen Team Members joined us from supermarkets, cafés, pubs, restaurants, warehouses and customer service jobs.

If you’re willing to learn, we’ll teach you the rest.

You Might Have Worked As a

This could be your first kitchen job or you may have worked in hospitality before.
