Premier Inn in Helston is seeking a Kitchen Team Member to support breakfast and dinner services. This 18-hour-per-week role pays up to £13.06 per hour and is based at Clodgey Lane, Helston, Cornwall, TR13 0QD. You’ll prepare ingredients, cook meals, and help keep the kitchen running smoothly for guests.

There’s no zero-hours contract; this is a permanent position with guaranteed hours and opportunities to grow within Premier Inn. Evening, weekend and peak periods shifts are included.

Kitchen Team Member – Premier Inn

This Isn’t Just About Cooking.

You’ll help prepare, cook and serve meals that become part of someone’s stay at Premier Inn because a good meal can make a great stay even better.

One minute you could be preparing breakfast before guests wake up. The next you’ll be helping the team through a busy dinner service.

If you enjoy working as part of a team and seeing the results of your work straight away, this could be the role for you.

Pay, hours and location

Pay: Up to £13.06 per hour
Contract: Permanent – we don’t do zero-hours contracts.
Hours: 18 contracted hours per week.
Location: Clodgey Lane, Helston, Cornwall, TR13 0QD
Shifts: Includes evenings, weekends and busy guest periods.

What You’ll Do

• Prepare ingredients before service starts

This is not a role where you’ll spend your shift hidden in the back washing up.

You’ll be part of a team that’s working together to deliver the meals our guests rely on.

You Don’t Need Hotel Experience

Some of our best Kitchen Team Members joined us from supermarkets, cafés, pubs, restaurants, warehouses and customer service jobs.

If you’re willing to learn, we’ll teach you the rest.

You Might Have Worked As a

• Catering Assistant
• Barista
• Kitchen Porter
• Retail Assistant
• Warehouse Operative

This could be your first kitchen job or you may have worked in hospitality before.

What matters most is that you're reliable, enjoy working with others and don’t mind rolling your sleeves up when things get busy.
