Premier Inn in Burnley is seeking a Kitchen Team Member to support meal preparation, cooking and service. You will work 12 hours per week with a permanent contract, including evenings and weekends. This role involves preparing ingredients, cooking meals for breakfast and dinner, keeping the kitchen clean, and assisting with deliveries and stock management.

No prior hotel experience is required; training will be provided and opportunities to grow within Premier Inn are available.

We're currently recruiting in our Burnley Premier Inn. Working 12 hours per week, paying up to £13.06 per hour.

Kitchen Team Member – Premier Inn

This Isn't Just About Cooking.

You'll help prepare, cook and serve meals that become part of someone's stay at Premier Inn because a good meal can make a great stay even better.

One minute you could be preparing breakfast before guests wake up. The next you'll be helping the team through a busy dinner service.

If you enjoy working as part of a team and seeing the results of your work straight away, this could be the role for you.

Pay, hours and location

Pay: Up to £13.06 per hour

Contract: Permanent - we don't do zero-hours contracts.

Hours: 12 contracted hours per week.

Location: Queen Victoria Road, Burnley, Lancs, BB10 3EF

Shifts: Includes evenings, weekends and busy guest periods.

What You'll Do

• Prepare ingredients before service starts
• Cook and plate meals during breakfast and dinner service
• Help keep the kitchen clean, organised and ready for the next rush
• Receive deliveries and keep stock where it should be
• Work closely with the hotel team so service runs smoothly
• Help make sure every meal leaves the kitchen looking right

This isn't a role where you'll spend your shift hidden in the back washing up.

You'll be part of a team that’s working together to deliver the meals our guests rely on.

You Don't Need Hotel Experience

Some of our best Kitchen Team Members joined us from supermarkets, cafés, pubs, restaurants, warehouses and customer service jobs. If you're willing to learn, we'll teach you the rest.

You Might Have Worked As a

• Catering Assistant
• Barista
• Kitchen Porter
• Retail Assistant
• Warehouse Operative

This could be your first kitchen job or you may have worked in hospitality before. What matters most is that you're reliable, enjoy working with others and don't mind rolling your sleeves up when things get busy.
