Job summary

Whitbread is recruiting a Kitchen Team Leader for Swanley at Premier Inn. You will work 30 hours per week and earn up to £14.31 per hour, with a clear path in our kitchen career ladder.

You’ll manage food ordering, stock control and costs; lead during service; cook and serve menu items to spec; ensure health and safety standards; support shifts and mentor new team members; and progress toward more senior kitchen roles within Whitbread.

Responsibilities

• Own food ordering, stock control and keeping food costs on track for the hotel
• Take the lead during service – organising the team, managing workflow, and ensuring everything runs smoothly
• Prepare, cook, and serve our menu to spec – from Premier Inn breakfasts to pub classics
• Make sure the kitchen meets health, safety and hygiene standards – keep records up to date
• Step up when needed – running shifts and helping new team members settle in
• Learn the ins and outs of kitchen management for future senior roles
