Job summary

Premier Inn in Rochester is seeking a Kitchen Team Member to help prepare, cook and serve meals for guests across breakfast and dinner service. This role is 20 hours per week, with pay up to £14.31 per hour and on-site duties at Medway Valley Leisure Park, Strood.

You’ll join a team where you’ll receive training, work with hotel colleagues to ensure smooth service, and gain kitchen skills and food safety knowledge.

• Prepare ingredients before service starts
• Cook and plate meals during breakfast and dinner service
• Help keep the kitchen clean, organised and ready for the next rush
• Receive deliveries and keep stock where it should be

We're currently recruiting in our Rochester location. Working 20 hours per week, paying up to £14.31 per hour.

One minute you could be preparing breakfast before guests wake up. The next you’ll be helping the team through a busy dinner service.

Pay, hours and location

Pay: Up to £14.31 per hour

Hours: 20 contracted hours per week.

Location: Medway Valley Leisure Park, Chariot Way, Strood, Kent, ME2 2SS

Shifts:Includes evenings, weekends and busy guest periods.

What you’ll do

As a Kitchen Team Member you’ll help make sure every guest gets a meal they’ll enjoy. You’ll:

You’ll be part of a team that’s working together to deliver the meals our guests rely on.

Some of our best Kitchen Team Members joined us from supermarkets, cafés, pubs, restaurants, warehouses and customer service jobs.

If you’re willing to learn, we’ll teach you the rest.

You might have worked as a:

• Catering Assistant
• Barista
• Retail Assistant
• Warehouse Operative

This could be your first kitchen job or you may have worked in hospitality before.

What matters most is that you're reliable, enjoy working with others and don’t mind rolling your sleeves up when things get busy.
