Job summary

Hotel Co 51 is seeking a Kitchen Porter for the Courtyard by Marriott Glasgow SEC. The role covers dishwashing, equipment cleaning, and assisting the kitchen team in a fast-paced hotel kitchen.

We value flexibility, a real passion for food, and strong English communication. You’ll support chefs, maintain hygiene standards, and help with basic prep tasks as required. A casual hour contract with a competitive hourly rate is offered. Training and development opportunities are available.

Responsibilities

• Wash dirty dishes, load and operate the dishwasher.
• Keep glassware organized and store clean dishes properly.
• Clean and maintain cooking equipment and surfaces.
• Follow HACCP standards and ensure hygiene in the kitchen.
• Receive deliveries and organise stock in the kitchen storage.
• Assist chefs and prep staff with basic food prep as needed.
