Job summary

Andras House Ltd in Belfast is seeking a Kitchen Porter to support the kitchen team and help maintain smooth operations. You will wash, store and assist with cleaning, ensuring high standards for our guests across our hotel brands.

Qualifications

• Good communication and listening skills.
• Ability to work in a fast paced and pressurised environment.
• Ability to work within a Team and also independently.
• Ability to communicate and follow instruction.

Responsibilities

• Wash, dry and store crockery, cutlery and glassware correctly.
• Operate the plate wash and pot wash machines and perform daily maintenance.
• Clean the kitchen to high hygienic standards including sanitising surfaces and floors.
• Assist in cleaning service prep area and front/back of house when needed.
• Receive deliveries and store goods in line with health and food safety rules.
• Report broken equipment to the Senior Chef on duty.
• Wear clean uniform and name badge at all times.
• Keep staff areas tidy and report hazards or incidents promptly.
