Dakota Hotels in Manchester is seeking a hard-working Kitchen Porter to support busy kitchen operations. The role requires a minimum of two years in cleaning or cooking, with a focus on pace, reliability and attention to detail.

You will manage washing, storage and cleanliness of back-of-house areas, following safety and chemical handling guidelines. Benefits include employee meals on duty, uniforming and opportunities for development within a culture prioritising positivity and teamwork.

Competenze

• Minimum of two years working experience in a cleaning or cooking role.
• Hard-working individual who is able to work at pace.
• Reliable and dependable, able to work well alone.
• Training in health and safety or chemical handling is beneficial but not required as this training will be provided upon starting.
• Enthusiastic individual who will promote our culture of positivity.
• Be task oriented with pride for the work and attention to detail.
• Flexible with shift patterns and available around the needs of our business.
• Successful candidates must demonstrate having researched our brand and a genuine desire to be part of our team.

Mansioni

• Wash pots, pans, crockery, glassware, and cutlery throughout the day.
• Store and organize all clean items so chefs have required equipment.
• Clean down Employee Break Room daily and deep clean the Kitchen twice daily.
• Keep Back of House areas clear and bin store areas clean and cleared daily.
• Follow waste disposal and recycling procedures and maintain waste storage area.
• Follow health and safety procedures, especially handling of waste and manual handling.
• Maintain knowledge of safe chemical handling and best practices in food prep areas.
