Team Member - Housekeeping Newcastle

Are you ready to be part of something amazing? Join us in revolutionising the budget accommodation sector at Kabannas. We are currently seeking vibrant individuals to join our team at the Newcastle Upon Tyne Hostel. This role is a part-time position working 10am to 2pm with the possibility of a later start or a longer shift at the weekend.

Responsibilities:

• Cleaning and arranging guest rooms to brand standards.

• Changing linen on beds and bunk beds.

• Cleaning and sanitising showers, bathtubs, toilets, countertops, and sinks.

• Vacuuming and cleaning carpets.

• Reporting breakages, damages, and safety issues for repairs.

• Assisting with cleanliness of public areas and bar.

• Carrying out deep or periodic cleans per schedule.

Qualifications:

Previous experience in a housekeeping role is a plus but not essential. No specific qualifications are required, just a passion for hospitality, a positive attitude, and a great sense of humour!

This housekeeping role includes tasks of a physical nature throughout the shift, including extensive bending, lifting, and carrying.

We're Hiring:

We are looking to fill vacancies in part-time roles, with a minimum of 8 hours per week, working up to 4 days from 7, on a rota basis.
