A collection of historic hotels in London is seeking a hands-on Hotel Manager to lead their team at Sydney House Chelsea. The ideal candidate will ensure excellent guest service, meet commercial goals, and develop staff while managing hotel operations effectively. Reporting to the Regional General Manager, we arenow looking for a hands on, operational Hotel Manager to lead our small hotel(21 bedrooms with breakfast offering) and it's team to success inChelsea. We’re looking for a good manager, someone who knows what guestservice is all about, whilst also being commercially minded. We wantsomeone who will coach and develop the hotel team, whilst delivering greatservice and achieving the hotel's commercial goals.
Location: A discreet, Georgian townhouse located just off the King’s Road, Sydney House Chelsea is understated but contemporary in style.
Hours: Full time. The role may work across any day of the week, butgiven Sydney House Chelsea is busiest during the week, this does mean weekendsoff are possible.

SERVICE CHARGE-We pay our team service charge each month! This service charge all goes into one pot, and 100% of that service charge is then shared amongst all the team at the hotel-every penny received is paid out to the team.

This role would suit an Operations/ Deputy Managerlooking for their first GM appointment, or even an experienced hotel Head ofDepartment, looking for a bigger and broader challenge. This is a very hands onrole where as General Manager you will get involved in everything from takingpart in the operation to managing the building itself.
Our GM's meet at least twice a year in person andalso have fortnightly calls- so there is always an opportunity to askquestions, get support and find out what is going on across the business.
