Job summary

IHG Hotels & Resorts in Windsor seeks an Investment Analysis Analyst to translate market intelligence, financial modelling and commercial judgement into actionable hotel development insights. You will assess opportunities, build P&L projections, and prepare committee papers while collaborating with Development, Design, Legal, Operations and Finance to support informed decisions.

Qualifications

• Strong analytical and numerical approach enabling clear explanations of financial concepts to non-finance stakeholders.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel for modelling and analysis.
• Familiarity with hotel performance metrics and P&L statements, plus understanding of hotel ownership models.
• Knowledge of financial valuation methodologies, including DCF.
• Excellent organisational skills with attention to detail and timelines.
• Excellent written and spoken English; fluency in an additional European language would be ideal.

Responsibilities

• Assess opportunities by researching markets, reviewing hotel assets and analysing comparable properties to inform feasibility of proposed developments.
• Build and evaluate hotel profit and loss projections and value contracts against terms.
• Prepare clear investment analysis for committee approval papers and align projections with relevant teams.
• Coordinate committee papers, agendas, e‑approvals and minutes with timely submissions supported by financial insight.
• Collaborate with Development, Design, Legal, Operations, Finance and other teams to guide approvals for each opportunity.
• Contribute to reporting, ad‑hoc analysis and projects to improve team efficiency and quality.
