Job summary

Gulliver's World is seeking a Hotel Chef to join our kitchen team. You will prepare and cook meals for hotel guests, work alongside the catering team, and support breakfast, lunch and dinner service while maintaining top food hygiene standards.

The ideal candidate will have kitchen/hospitality experience, hold a valid Food Hygiene certificate, be reliable and able to work in a fast-paced environment with flexible hours. A driving licence or transport is advantageous.

Qualifications

• Experience in a similar kitchen or hospitality setting.
• Valid Food Hygiene certificate.
• Reliable, organised and able to work well as part of a team.
• Willing to work flexible shifts.
• Driving licence or access to transport advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Preparing and cooking meals for hotel guests and visitors
• Working as part of the hotel and catering team to deliver a high standard of food service
• Supporting breakfast, lunch and evening food service where required
• Maintaining excellent food hygiene and kitchen cleanliness standards
• Following health and safety procedures at all times
• Helping with stock rotation, food preparation and general kitchen duties
• Working 5 days out of 7, including weekends and busy periods
• Split shifts and full-day shifts available
• Full-time position with an immediate start available
• Uniform supplied

• Have experience working in a similar kitchen or hospitality setting

• Be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
• Take pride in food quality, presentation and cleanliness
• Be flexible with working hours and shift patterns
• Have a driving licence or access to transport, which would be advantageous
