Kitchen Team Leader – Glasgow City Centre (George Square)

Join our team at Premier Inn Glasgow City Centre (George Square) as a Kitchen Team Leader and advance your Chef career. You will manage daily kitchen operations, including rotas, food orders, team leadership during busy services, and maintaining audit standards. Working closely with your Hotel Manager, you'll take full ownership of the kitchen, focusing on food quality and hygiene. This hands-on leadership role is ideal for those looking to develop skills for a Head Chef position.

Pay Rate:

Up to £13.81 per hour

Hours:

35 hours per week across 5 days, including evenings and weekends. Guaranteed hours to help plan your week.

What you'll do:
  • Own food ordering, stock control, and managing food costs for the hotel.
  • Lead during service, organizing the team and managing workflow.
  • Prepare, cook, and serve menu items to specification, including breakfast and pub classics.
  • Ensure health, safety, and hygiene standards are met, keeping the team trained and records updated.
  • Step up by running shifts and supporting new team members.
