Job description

The Job:

As Assistant Food and Beverage Manager, you will ensure the quality and standards of food and beverage service are consistently achieved. You will motivate and develop staff to meet the hotel guests’ expectations.
This hotel operation offers a variety of food, beverage, and event experiences. Attention to detail, delivering exceptional customer service, and exceeding guest expectations are key in this operational role. You will continually review and improve the customer service and guest experience. Computer literacy is preferred, with training available for systems like Rota’s and PO systems. Working closely with the management team, you will contribute to the ongoing development of the operation.

The Person:

Our client seeks a new Assistant Food and Beverage Manager, ideally with a hotel background, but experience in restaurants, bars, venues, or contract catering is also acceptable. The candidate should have a strong presence, an eye for detail, and the ability to be professional yet friendly, creating a relaxing and welcoming atmosphere. Proven experience in supervising, managing, and training staff, along with good knowledge of stock and event management, is essential. Passion and drive to make a difference are highly valued.
