Job summary

O-I is seeking a Process Machine Operator to join our hot end team, operating glass forming machinery and inspecting containers to ensure quality. The role requires physical work, adherence to procedures and a focus on safety in a continuous shift pattern.

Candidate should have National 5 in Maths and English, and bring a keen eye for mechanical systems. Training is provided for operating procedures and quality targets in a global packaging environment.

Qualifications

• National 5 in Maths and English (or equivalent).
• A keen eye for mechanical systems and processes; urgency in manufacturing and adherence to procedures.
• Understanding that quality and efficiency support sustainability and resource preservation.

Responsibilities

• Operate glass forming machines in the hot end to produce containers.
• Conduct physical and visual gauging checks and address forming issues.
• Follow safety procedures in a challenging shift environment and respect operating instructions.
