This role is advertised for 40 hours a week working Monday to Friday in our healthcare technologies hub - Birmingham Health Innovation Campus.

Job purpose:

The Host role is pivotal as the face of Bruntwood. You will be the first point of contact, working closely with our clients and tenants. Approachable and personable candidates, especially from hospitality, retail, or cabin crew backgrounds, are ideal.

What will you be doing?

  • Delivering a positive customer experience within the building
  • Building long-term professional relationships with customers
  • Being the first point of contact for all visitors and customers
  • Supporting and facilitating events and meetings
  • Supporting customer viewings to aid sales
  • Hosting meeting rooms, coworking, lounge, and communal amenities, maintaining high standards
  • Managing workload to balance desk tasks and customer relationships
  • Updating systems with customer intelligence to support sales and retention
  • Engaging with colleagues and other departments
  • Promoting wellbeing in the workplace
  • Continuously improving processes to add value and simplify customer interactions
  • Applying energy, drive, and knowledge to inspire colleagues and deliver excellent service
