Within three miles (15 minutes), easy access to The Nigel Doughty Academy, Nottingham, NG2 7SR

Working Arrangements:

Opportunities to host on a full-time or part-time/ad-hoc basis

About the Role:

We are recruiting host families to provide accommodation for our Academy players, supporting them as they live away from home. This is a unique and rewarding opportunity to make a positive impact on their experience and support their development both as young people and athletes.

Key Tasks and Responsibilities:
  • Provide a homely and friendly environment for our young people
  • Support the development of independent living and self-care skills
  • Include young people in family life as they feel comfortable
  • Provide access to a private bedroom, bathroom, laundry facilities, and communal areas
  • Prepare a nutritious evening meal
  • Report any welfare concerns to the Safeguarding and Welfare team
  • Allow access for regular inspections and visits by the Club during the season
  • Follow ongoing requirements outlined in the application process, with guidance provided by the Club
What are we looking for:
  • Create a warm, welcoming, and safe environment

  • Ability to accommodate a flexible schedule during the football season
  • Previous experience working with young people
  • Promote and demonstrate anti-discriminatory practice

As part of the recruitment process, home visits will be conducted to assess suitability and ensure homes meet hosting requirements.
