About Us:
The Piano Works are looking for a part-time fun-loving, passionate and guest-focused Host to join our team and family.
We have two fantastic live music venues in London, one located just off Covent Garden and the other Farringdon which are both part restaurant, part bar, part concert and full-on party.
What We Need:
As a Host/Hostess, you will greet and welcome customers, manage reservations, and ensure a smooth and enjoyable dining experience.
Responsibilities:
- Capable of handling different bookings at the same time, deal with our guests' reservations and make sure that they receive the most iconic welcome there is!
- Escort guests to their tables and give them the best tour around our cocktail menu.
- Answer phone calls, take reservations, and provide information to guests over the phone.
- Handle guest inquiries, complaints, and special requests in a professional and courteous manner.
- Maintain a clean and organized front-of-house area, including the entryway, waiting area, and restrooms.
- Assist in opening and closing duties, including setting up the host stand and organizing reservation books.
Skills and Experience:
- Strong communication skills to interact with guests in a polite and engaging manner.
- Excellent organizational abilities to manage reservations and seating arrangements efficiently.
- Ability to work well under pressure and handle a high volume of guests during busy times.
- Positive and outgoing personality with a genuine desire to create a welcoming atmosphere for guests.
- Problem-solving skills to handle guest inquiries and address any issues that may arise.
