A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A HOST TEAM MEMBER AT OUR RESTAURANT
What you'll be doing...
- Welcome guests with a warm smile and attentive service, making their experience enjoyable from start to finish.
- Set up, clean, and reset tables and service areas, maintaining an inviting and well-organised dining space.
- Uphold hygiene and health and safety standards, ensuring a spotless and compliant workspace.
- Work closely with kitchen and bar teams to deliver a seamless service, supporting each other for a smooth operation.
- Organize seating plan on Open Table before Service
- Answer the phone with confidence.
- Communicate guest’s notes and info to managers, chef, servers during
service - Liaise with the Sales & Events manager for special information, requests,
and bookings - Warmly and graciously greet all guests upon arrival, using guest name if
known and recognizing any regular guests - Update Supervisors & Managers on table status – Return Times
WHAT WE NEED FROM YOU
- A friendly, professional approach with a passion for creating positive guest experiences.
- Prior food and beverage service experience is a plus, but we welcome a willingness to learn.
- Clear communication skills to interact confidently with guests and colleagues.
- A keen eye for detail, especially in order accuracy and food presentation.
- Team-focused, ready to jump in and support others to keep service flowing.
- Flexibility and energy to thrive in a fast-paced setting, handling peak times with ease.
