Overview

We’re looking for a Host to join our team at The Aubrey.

The Aubrey is a Japanese Izakaya & Bar concept with 132 covers and a private dining room serving brunch, dinner and late-night drinks. Our menu features classic dishes from Japanese cuisine, in interpretations that adapt and change with the seasons.

Hours and shift details: 39 hours, 5 days per week. As a Host, you will be working on a rotating shift basis, Monday to Sunday, with mainly evening or late-night shifts (including weekends and bank holidays), so flexibility is required where applicable.

Responsibilities
  • You will take reservations in a friendly and professional manner
  • Warmly greet all guests upon arrival, building rapport with new guests and recognising regular guests
  • You will follow up any special requests related to reservations
  • You communicate relevant information of each reservation to the Head Waiters and Managers
Qualifications
  • To be a successful Host candidate, you will ideally have previous Host experience in a high-standard hospitality establishment but a minimum of a Customer Service experience in a luxury environment
