Overview

Hospitality Supervisor. This is a full-time role based in Topsham, UK. Salary: £17.34 per hour plus company benefits. Working hours include some weekends. Watermeadow Grange in Topsham, Exeter is a beautiful care home providing 86 spacious ensuite bedrooms, including a community dedicated to the care of people living with dementia. Responsibilities
  • Monitor, control and manage the home’s budgets, ensuring the departments use nominated suppliers
  • Recruit, train and manage all team members in the above activities in conjunction with the General Manager, ensuring that performance standards are understood and maintained
  • Ensure that the catering service is of the highest standards in terms of presentation and menu content, working closely with the Head Chef to achieve a quality service that is value for money
  • Monitor and support the dining areas at meal times ensuring that the highest standards are met
  • Attend evening and weekend functions as they arise to facilitate a quality service to residents and guests to the home
  • Ensure that the whole home team are appropriately trained and customer service standards are met at all times
Qualifications / Experience

You will require a background in hotel or catering management, a knowledge of budget control and purchasing, auditing of environment, food preparation and presentation. Strong communication skills when dealing with team members, residents and family members.

Additional Details

Full-time hours to include some weekend working. You will be the lead in ensuring that operations run smoothly within the home and that residents are comfortable and happy.
