NPTC Group of Colleges in Port Talbot is seeking a Hospitality Operative on a maternity cover basis. This role is part-time (20 hours a week) with a fixed-term contract until 30 September 2027, or until the postholder returns.

You will support catering services and front-of-house duties in our refectories, delivering friendly customer service and helping to create a positive experience for students and staff.

Do you have what it takes to fulfil our staff and students' appetites? We have an exciting opportunity for a hospitality operative in one of our refectories.

Scale 1, Point 14, £25,949 per annum, pro rata. Equivalent to £11,485 per annum.

20 hours per week (including occasional early mornings, evenings and weekends).

Part time, part year, 36.8 weeks per annum, fixed term until 30 September 2027 or upon the return of the postholder, whichever is sooner.

About you: If you have experience of working in a catering or customer service environment that would be ideal, however, if you don’t, providing you are passionate about providing good customer service and you are willing to learn we can teach you the rest.
