Job summary

Mint People is looking for an experienced Duty Manager to join a well-established gastro pub in the Ribble Valley. This is a great opportunity for a passionate hospitality professional to take on a leadership role in a busy and welcoming venue.

In this hands-on role you will oversee daily operations, lead the front-of-house team, manage bookings and events, and ensure health and safety regulations are followed. You will work closely with senior management to drive performance.

Qualifications

• Experience in supervisory or management role within a gastro pub or similar environment.
• Strong leadership and team-motivation skills.
• Passion for hospitality and delivering outstanding guest service.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced service environment.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations, ensuring smooth service and an excellent guest experience
• Lead and support the front-of-house team, maintaining high standards of customer service
• Assist in stock control, ordering, and supplier management
• Manage bookings and event coordination where necessary
• Ensure all health and safety regulations and licensing laws are adhered to
