Job summary

Legends Global is seeking an Hospitality Manager to lead premium hospitality across Yorkshire venues, including race days and large conferences. You will manage 50+ bars and suites, drive high service standards, and mentor hospitality teams in a fast-paced setting.

You’ll collaborate with F&B, ensure food safety compliance, and help grow revenue through proposed retail experiences while delivering memorable guest experiences across diverse venues.

Qualifications

• Experience in hospitality, banqueting or events in a fast-paced venue.
• Strong people and interpersonal skills with leadership ability.
• Hands-on approach to delivering exceptional guest experiences.
• Good understanding of food hygiene and health & safety standards.
• Capable of working in a high-volume environment and taking initiative.
• Desirable Personal License.

Responsibilities

• Work with the F&B team to prep and deliver race day and non-race day events to a high standard.
• Oversee conference, banqueting and hospitality events with excellent food and guest service.
• Lead the retail F&B team, manage cash handling, stock and service standards.
• Support revenue targets by developing retail offers and points of sale.
• Ensure accurate invoicing and adherence to cash-handling procedures.
• Maintain food safety, Health & Safety and SOP compliance; identify training needs.
• Build strong relationships with internal teams, vendors and subcontractors.

As Hospitality Manager, you'll play a key role in delivering outstanding hospitality across one of Yorkshire's most iconic venues. Welcoming up to 35,000 racegoers on a race day, alongside conferences, exhibitions, banquets, parties and weddings, you'll help deliver memorable experiences across premium hospitality boxes, restaurants, suites and bars. With guests and clients travelling from across the UK and around the world, you'll support and develop hospitality teams, maintain high service standards and help deliver seamless events. Key Responsibilities

• Work alongside the F&B team to ensure all race day and non-race day events are fully prepared and delivered to a high standard.
• Oversee allocated conference, banqueting and hospitality events, ensuring excellent food, beverage and guest experiences.
• Lead and support the retail F&B team, overseeing sales, cash handling, stock control, cleanliness and service standards.
• Support the achievement of revenue and profit targets, while developing the retail offer and points of sale to enhance the customer experience.
• Ensure accurate and timely event invoicing and billing, alongside full compliance with cash-handling procedures.
• Maintain high standards of food safety, Health & Safety and SOP compliance, identifying and supporting relevant training needs.
• Build strong relationships with internal departments, vendors and subcontractors to ensure the smooth delivery of events and consistently high venue standards.

We are looking for someone with

• Experience in hospitality, banqueting or events, ideally within a busy, high-volume environment.
• Strong people and interpersonal skills, with the confidence to lead teams and make decisions on the day.
• A hands-on approach and passion for delivering exceptional guest experiences.
• Good understanding of food hygiene, Health & Safety and hospitality standards.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, with some manual handling involved.
• A genuine desire to learn, develop and progress your hospitality career.
• Personal License is desirable
