Job summary

AvroKO in London invites an intermediate designer to join our studio and contribute to hospitality-focused projects worldwide. You’ll work with senior designers on concept development, technical coordination, and client presentations, in a collaborative, design-forward environment.

You should have a solid interior design background, a strong portfolio, and proficiency with AutoCAD, 3D modeling, and Adobe tools.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in interior design or a related field from an accredited school.
• Three plus years’ postgraduate design experience with high-end, conceptually driven design.
• Proficient in AutoCAD, SketchUp, Enscape, and other 3D modeling software.
• Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop and InDesign).
• Strong knowledge of FF&E, materials, and specifications.
• Demonstrate a strong conceptual approach to design and persuasive presentation skills.
• Excellent teamwork skills. Ability to work collaboratively with design directors and creative managing directors across the firm

Responsibilities

• Conceptual design presentations with mood boards, 3D modeling, renderings, CAD drawings, and FF&E selections.
• Produce and coordinate contract documents, material schedules, and budgets.
• Support construction administration through RFIs, submittals, field reports, and punch lists.
• Collaborate with consultants and vendors to ensure design integrity.
• Mentor interior designers and interns.
• Promote design excellence within the studio and cross-team collaboration.
• Other duties as assigned
