Job Description: Catering Supervisor

We're recruiting an experienced Catering Supervisor who is passionate about exceptional food and world-class customer service. You will confidently oversee all Compass Group UK&I catering and service operations for Chartwells on a full-time basis, contracted to 40 hours per week.

As a Catering Supervisor, you will be responsible for ensuring our kitchens and service counters run smoothly and for delivering truly incredible food experiences. Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Preparing high-quality, delicious food
  • Supervising culinary and catering teams to ensure excellent food and service
  • Communicating regularly with your line manager to monitor KPIs and targets
  • Representing Compass Group UK&I and maintaining a positive brand image
  • Liaising with customers and teams to exceed expectations
  • Supporting and training staff, leading from the front
  • Implementing and reviewing Health & Safety standards for compliance

Our ideal Catering Supervisor will:

  • Be passionate about great-tasting food and customer service
  • Have at least two years of catering experience
  • Experience managing teams in similar roles
  • Hold a Basic Food Hygiene certificate
  • Possess excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Be ambitious and eager to upskill
