Job summary

BaxterStorey UK is seeking a friendly catering assistant to support breakfast, lunch, snacks and dinner service across campus locations. You will follow established menus and recipes while maintaining high service standards.

Maintain front and back of house cleanliness, ensure food safety, and work as part of a team to deliver positive experiences for students and staff during mealtimes. Training and safety protocols will be part of your ongoing development.

• Ideally have experience working within catering.
• Have good Health & Safety knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the serving of breakfast, lunch, snacks and dinner according to established menus and recipes.
• Maintain cleanliness of the front of house, and back of house areas including organising dishes and utensils.
• Following proper food handling and storage procedures to ensure food safety and prevent contamination.
• Monitor inventory levels of food and supplies and notify management of any shortages or discrepancies.
• Provide friendly and efficient service to students and staff during mealtimes, addressing any concerns or special dietary needs.
• Participate in training sessions and meeting related to food service procedures, safety protocols, and customer service standards.
