Job summary

Scotsman Group is seeking a reliable Cleaner to help keep our venues across Scotland welcoming and spotless. You will perform sweeping, mopping, vacuuming and dusting, keep restrooms and kitchens clean, and sanitize high-touch areas to ensure a hygienic environment for guests and staff.

Flexible shifts including early mornings, evenings or weekends, full training provided, and opportunities to progress within our hospitality group.

Qualifications

• Hardworking and reliable with a strong work ethic.
• Attention to detail, ensuring a thorough cleaning process in all areas.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
• Flexible and able to work early mornings, evenings, or weekends as required by the venue.
• Previous cleaning experience is preferred but not essential, as full training will be provided.

Responsibilities

• Perform general cleaning duties including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and dusting of all areas within the venue.
• Ensure that restrooms, kitchens, and public areas are kept clean, well-stocked, and maintained to the highest standards.
• Regularly clean and sanitise high-touch surfaces to ensure a hygienic environment.
• Empty waste bins and dispose of rubbish in accordance with venue guidelines.
• Report any maintenance or repair needs to the management team.
• Follow all health and safety regulations and ensure cleaning equipment and supplies are stored safely.
• Assist in any deep cleaning tasks or specific projects as needed by the venue.
