Job summary

Scotsman Group is seeking dedicated Cleaners to join our team and maintain the cleanliness of our venues across Scotland. You will perform general cleaning duties, sanitise high-touch areas, and help keep our bars, restaurants, and hotels welcoming and spotless for guests and staff.

We value hardworking, reliable individuals with attention to detail, able to work independently or in a team, and flexible for early mornings, evenings or weekends. Full training is provided.

Qualifications

• Hardworking and reliable with a strong work ethic.
• Attention to detail, ensuring a thorough cleaning process in all areas.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
• Flexible and able to work early mornings, evenings, or weekends as required by the venue.
• Previous cleaning experience is preferred but not essential, as full training will be provided.

Responsibilities

• Perform general cleaning duties including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and dusting of all areas within the venue.
• Ensure that restrooms, kitchens, and public areas are kept clean, well-stocked, and maintained to the highest standards.
• Regularly clean and sanitise high-touch surfaces to ensure a hygienic environment.
• Empty waste bins and dispose of rubbish in accordance with venue guidelines.
• Report any maintenance or repair needs to the management team.
• Follow all health and safety regulations and ensure cleaning equipment and supplies are stored safely.
• Assist in any deep cleaning tasks or specific projects as needed by the venue.
