Overview
As a Hospitality Assistant, you will be responsible for providing service excellence to our guests and clients at meetings and events. The Hospitality Assistant will support, monitor, and serve all food and drinks to customers/clients/guests and assist with clearing throughout the event, with a strong emphasis on room set up and moving furniture.
Responsibilities
- Clean and polish all cutlery and glasses/crockery for the next event.
- Prepare all hospitality food and beverage requests offered to customers/clients/guests in designated meeting spaces in a presentable manner.
- Work without supervision, taking initiative over duties and tasks without being directed.
- Serve guests with a genuine and positive demeanour; ensure service is efficient and of the highest quality.
- Work on licensed bars serving alcoholic beverages.
- Assist with deliveries as required.
- Prepare hospitality requirements ensuring all items are available; report any shortages to your line manager.
- Ensure linen and equipment hired for an event are counted and packed away for collection after the event.
