Our stunning care home, Ruddington Manor Care Centre, is a purpose-built facility in Wilford, Nottingham. The home is registered to provide care to 66 residents with various care needs, including residential and nursing. Ruddington Manor is rated GOOD in all domains by CQC. We provide the highest standards of safety, comfort, and care to residents. Located conveniently, we have a very good local reputation. Since its inception, New Care has maintained 0 agency usage for over 43 years by employing a permanent staff team to ensure continuity of care. All staff are paid the national living wage or above.
We are seeking to appoint a kind, caring, and organized Hospitality Assistant to join our team. The role involves ensuring residents and visitors receive efficient food service, maintaining a clean working environment within the dining room, and serving at all times. We offer a full-time contract with an hourly rate of £11.44. Shift times are 08:00-19:00, with alternate weekend working.
Role Responsibilities:
- Ensure a high standard of hospitality service is provided.
- Support and assist visitors.
- Inform the Chef of any individual requirements of residents.
- Follow cleaning schedules and procedures as per company HACCP guidelines.
- Adhere to all training provided.
- Ensure records and reports are properly written up.
- Promote safeguarding and the welfare of adults the post holder is responsible for or comes into contact with.
Skills and Experience Required:
- Hospitality or catering experience is desirable.
- Previous experience working in a care setting is desirable.
- Ability to effectively communicate with team members.
- Willingness to participate in activities organized in the Home.
