Hospitality and Catering Lecturer

Location: Cheshire | Further Education College

Full-Time (will consider part time too) | £30 pound per hour initially with view to becoming permanent

Are you passionate about the hospitality and catering industry and ready to inspire the next generation of chefs, hospitality professionals, and culinary leaders? We're looking for a dynamic and enthusiastic Hospitality and Catering Lecturer to join our forward-thinking Further Education College in the heart of Cheshire.

Job Role:

As a key member of our vocational team, you'll deliver engaging, high-quality teaching to students across a range of courses including NVQs, Diplomas, and Apprenticeships in Hospitality, Professional Cookery, and Catering. You will help shape future industry professionals through hands-on training, theory-based learning, and mentoring.

Responsibilities:

• Plan and deliver practical and classroom-based lessons in line with curriculum standards.
• Support students' academic and personal development.
• Develop and assess coursework, practical assignments, and exams.
• Keep up to date with industry trends to ensure the course content remains current.
• Work collaboratively with colleagues and industry partners to enhance learner experiences.

Requirements:

• Industry experience in hospitality, catering, or professional cookery.
• A recognised teaching qualification
• Strong communication and organisational skills.
