Role Overview

As Kitchen Manager, you will lead a team including a Sous Chef and 5 Catering Assistants to provide freshly prepared meals for approximately 60 boarding students. Responsibilities include managing menus, food production, purchasing, stock control, and maintaining kitchen cleanliness and safety standards.

Shift patterns involve working 5 days out of 7 with alternating shifts, including weekends and evenings, with overtime paid or in lieu. Outside term time, the role may involve catering for private lettings and summer schools, with potential for a term-time only contract.
