Countess of Chester Hospital NHS Foundation Trust is recruiting for a part-time Waste Porter to support a comprehensive portering service across the hospital. The role requires handling all waste streams in line with Trust policies and procedures, and flexibility to meet changing operational needs while delivering Safe, Kind and Effective care.

Aufgaben

• To undertake all waste portering tasks.
• To provide a refuse collection service for clinical waste, domestic waste, glass, paper, cardboard and packaging recycling waste across the trust.
• To collect yellow/orange clinical waste, domestic waste and recyclable waste from dedicated points and transport to the waste compound.
• To collect cardboard, compact it in the recycling cardboard compactor.
• To collect glass and bottles from dedicated points and transport to the waste compound for disposal.
• To collect paper/confidential waste and computer waste, ensuring confidentiality and security at all times.
