Job summary

Betsi Cadwaladr University Health Board (BCUHB) invites applications for a Domestic Assistant post at Ysbyty Bryn Beryl, with various shifts from 08:00 to 18:00 across wards and departments. The role involves cleaning duties in wards, departments, public and staff areas and residential accommodation, followed by a 4–6 week induction and COSHH training.

Welsh language ability is desirable; applications from Welsh and English speakers are welcome.

Qualifications

• Meets all essential criteria as per attached job description/person specification.
• Experience of working as part of a team.
• Previous experience of cleaning services.
• Able to organise and prioritise own workload.
• Basic numeracy and literacy skills.

Responsibilities

• Carry out cleaning and related duties within wards, departments, public and staff areas and residential accommodation.
• 4–6 week induction period with on the job training including Health and Safety and COSHH.
• Ability to speak Welsh is desirable; Welsh and/or English speakers welcome to apply.
