Job summary

Goddard Vet Group in Northolt is seeking a hospital RVN to join their busy, 24‑hour site. The role offers exposure to ECC, theatre, and consult duties within a large clinical team.

You will guide trainee nurses, support front‑of‑house care, and work a full‑time Monday to Friday pattern with a 1:5 weekend rotation and TOIL. There are no on‑call requirements and a comprehensive benefits package is offered.

Qualifications

• Role suited to an RVN or soon-to-qualify student thriving in a fast-paced hospital environment.
• Experience with hospital nursing, wards and theatre is preferred.
• Ability to guide trainee nurses to achieve high clinical standards.

Responsibilities

• Carry out acting weekend Charge Nurse duties as directed.
• Explain post-operative discharge instructions to clients and provide appropriate literature.
• Record clinical histories of conversations regarding fees or treatment options.
• Ensure equipment is cleaned, sterilised and stored correctly.
• Maintain accurate records of hospitalised patients and assist surgeons in theatre.
• Support a collaborative team environment and maintain SOPs.
