Receptionist - Private Hospital (Agency Contract)

Are you an experienced receptionist with a passion for patient care and a solid understanding of HR processes? Trident Healthcare is seeking a professional and personable Receptionist to join a reputable private hospital in Bedford on a minimum 6-month agency contract. Key Responsibilities
  • Greet and assist patients, visitors, and staff with professionalism and warmth.
  • Manage incoming calls, emails, and appointment bookings.
  • Maintain accurate patient records and handle confidential information.
  • Support basic HR functions such as onboarding paperwork, staff scheduling, and maintaining personnel files.
  • Liaise with clinical and administrative teams to ensure smooth day-to-day operations.
  • Uphold high standards of customer service and patient confidentiality.
Requirements
  • Proven experience as a receptionist, ideally in a healthcare or clinical setting.
  • Basic HR knowledge or experience (e.g., recruitment support, staff records, compliance).
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and patient management systems.
