Job summary

Mid Cheshire Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust is recruiting for a dual-role support grade based at Victoria Infirmary Northwich. The role combines portering and basic security duties, moving people and items around the hospital, with open/close service and parking support.

You will work within the Security team in the facilities department, liaising with clinical and non-clinical staff, and you will need good communication, flexibility, reliability and the ability to stay calm under pressure in

Responsibilities

• Move expensive, specialist medical equipment between hospital areas using appropriate handling techniques.
• Transport medical supplies such as oxygen cylinders and collect/return them when empty.
• Transport clinical waste and hazardous materials.
• Deliver supplies to hospital departments.
• Assist the site security officer with car park management and open/close service.
