Job summary

Bupa UK is seeking a Pharmacy Technician to join the Procurement and Distribution team at Cromwell Hospital, London. You will manage hospital pharmacy purchasing, coordinate stock distribution to wards and theatres, and ensure GDP/compliance across our services.

As a GPhC-registered technician with UK experience, you will handle supplier orders, stock checks, and monthly reporting while adhering to CH SOPs. This full-time role offers stable hours and a balanced lifestyle.

Qualifications

• NVQ3 Pharmacy Technician (essential)
• Registered Pharmacy Technician GPhC (essential)
• Proven experience of pharmacy purchasing (essential)
• Pyxis ES (desirable)

Responsibilities

• Assist with responsive delivery of pharmacy fluids to wards, theatres and Inpatient departments.
• Raise and transmit pharmacy purchase orders to suppliers per procedures.
• Check deliveries and distribute to destinations.
• Ensure stock is stored under correct conditions and rotated per SOPs.
• Carry out reconciliation of delivery notes, invoices and credits.
• Maintain correct price information in Ascribe system.
• Complete weekly/monthly procurement reports.
• Communicate out-of-stock information with wholesalers/manufacturers.
