Applications are invited from suitably-qualified and experienced Pharmacy Technicians to join the Pharmacy team at our client's Acute Hospital site based in beautiful Bath, Somerset.
This is a full-time permanent post, but we are open to hearing from candidates seeking to negotiate part-time hours.
The Pharmacy supports the hospital with ward and dispensary-based services, and you will work alongside a clinical pharmacist and trainee pharmacy technician. Your responsibilities will include overseeing medicine management, which includes prescribing, dispensing, and ordering. You will also strive to ensure that service performance consistently meets high standards.
This hospital is an award-winning facility led by some of the South-West's most experienced consultants, supported by 24/7 RMO cover on-site. It was rated outstanding for caring and is a centre of excellence, acquired through NHS investment in June 2021.
The hospital features 28 en-suite inpatient beds, 22 day-case beds, and 5 ambulatory care beds. Facilities include nine consulting rooms, four state-of-the-art operating theatres (two with laminar flow), a JAG-accredited Endoscopy suite, a dedicated cardiology suite, and an intervention treatment room. The physiotherapy department includes a gym and four treatment rooms. The digital diagnostic unit offers CT, MRI, general X-ray, and ultrasound services.
