Job summary
Spire Alexandra Hospital in Chatham is seeking an experienced Pharmacy Manager to lead the hospital pharmacy service on a full-time, permanent basis. You will provide both clinical and operational leadership, ensuring safe, compliant management of medicines and governance across the hospital.
You will lead and develop the pharmacy team, support consultants and multidisciplinary teams, and drive service improvements to enhance patient care and clinical outcomes while upholding the highest
Qualifications
- GPhC registration current and in good standing.
- MPharm or BSc Pharmacy degree from an approved programme.
- Significant hospital pharmacy experience.
- Strong clinical knowledge with complex patient pathways.
- Experience leading teams and driving service improvements.
- Ability to influence clinical practice and promote evidence-based decisions.
Responsibilities
- Provide clinical leadership and manage the hospital pharmacy service.
- Offer expert advice on safe and effective use of medicines to consultants, clinicians and patients.
- Ensure medicines management across the hospital complies with governance and regulatory standards.
- Collaborate with consultants and multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality patient care.
- Drive service development initiatives to improve clinical quality, efficiency and outcomes.
