Job Title: Pharmacist Band 6–8a
Location: Essex, Southend – NHS Hospital service
Duration: Minimum 3 months (booked month-by-month)
Schedule: Monday to Friday, 9am–5.30pm (1hr lunch) – Flexible start/finish times, minimum 4 days/week (ideally 5)
Start Date: ASAP, May 2025
End Date: Ongoing
Rate of Pay: £24 - £37 per hour PAYE (via LMS), depending on experience and banding

What You’ll Be Doing:
Join our team as a Pharmacist and play a key role in improving the lives of patients within a busy NHS hospital service. In this role, you will:

Perform comprehensive patient assessments

Create and implement personalised care plans

Deliver evidence-based treatments to optimise patient outcomes

Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to provide holistic care

Requirements & Qualifications:
To be successful in this role, you will need:

A current and valid GPhC registration

Experience working in hospital wards and/or dispensary ideal, but not a necessity! (NHS or strong community background with solid references)

Strong communication and interpersonal skills

The ability to work independently and within a multidisciplinary team

A commitment to delivering high-quality patient care

Working Hours & Contract Duration:
This role offers flexibility and requires availability from Monday to Friday (minimum 4 days per week). The contract is for a minimum of 3 months with strong potential for extension based on performance and service needs.
