We are seeking a Facilities Operative to perform domestic cleaning and ward catering duties across hospital and patient areas, ensuring high hygiene standards and safe waste disposal.

Responsibilities

• Cleaning clinical and non-clinical areas to agreed standards.
• Cleaning floors, furniture, fixtures, fittings, washrooms and patient areas.
• Collecting and disposing of waste safely.
• Replenishing consumables such as soap, paper towels and toilet rolls.
• Assisting with patient meal and beverage services.
• Maintaining ward kitchens to a high standard of hygiene.
• Monitoring food temperatures and refrigeration checks.
• Ordering and managing catering supplies and stock rotation.
• Supporting patient hydration by replenishing water jugs and maintaining drinking equipment.
