Job summary

Blackpool Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust, in partnership with Atlas BFW Management Ltd, seeks an Electrical Maintenance Technician to ensure day-to-day servicing and repairs comply with HTMs, HBNs, and relevant standards across the estate.

You will perform fault finding on LV networks, test fixed installations, and undertake PPM tasks on plant and catering equipment, with a minimum of 5 years post-qualification experience and City & Guilds 2391-52.

Qualifications

• Qualified in 17th/18th Edition Regulations and City & Guilds 2391-52 Testing & Inspection.
• Minimum 5 years post-qualification experience, preferably NHS/maintenance setting or completed recognised Electrical Engineering apprenticeship.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement the Estate's Strategy aligned with Trust and Atlas goals.
• Fault finding and testing of complex LV networks and critical systems (e.g., nurse call, fire alarms).
• Carry out fault finding and maintenance of plant and catering equipment; perform PPM tasks.
