Job summary

Bedfordshire Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust is seeking an Electrical Maintenance Technician to join the Estates Team at Luton and Dunstable Hospital. The role involves diagnosing faults, maintaining building services, and delivering safe isolations within the electrical craft.

The post supports all Trust sites with on-call duties and potential weekend/evening work. You will work as part of a proactive Estates Directorate team, ensuring a comprehensive maintenance service across sites.

Qualifications

• HNC/D, NVQ Level 4, C&G or equivalent in a relevant engineering discipline.
• Proven experience in a service/maintenance role and supervisory responsibility.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose faults, diagnose and repair building engineering services and plant.
• Carry out testing, servicing and maintenance of equipment and systems.
• Oversee fault-finding and maintenance on complex plant and building systems.
• Carry out authorised person duties and ensure safety procedures.
