Job summary

NHS Lanarkshire requires a committed Cleaning Operative to provide domestic services for patients, staff and visitors across NHSL premises. You will maintain a clean, safe, welcoming environment, following established procedures and reporting any access issues to ensure standards are met.

Roles include working a Monday to Friday rota between 07:00 and 19:00, with driving duties at Coathill/Wester Moffat Hospital as base locations. Full-time hours and NHS benefits accompany the role.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of cleaning standards and related procedures.
• Understanding of Health & Safety including COSHH guidelines.
• Ability to work with people and in a multidisciplinary team.
• Full UK/EU/EEA driving licence required.

Responsibilities

• Perform a range of cleaning tasks using machinery and equipment.
• Ensure cleaning meets required standards and report issues to supervisor.
• Use cleaning materials safely and in line with COSHH guidelines.
• Maintain safe environment for patients, staff and visitors.
