Job summary

NHS National Services Scotland in Aviemore is seeking a Band 2 Domestic Assistant to join the hospital’s Domestic Services team. You will perform cleaning in clinics, treatment rooms, offices and public areas, contributing to Infection Prevention & Control and a safe patient environment.

The 18-hour week rota includes shifts 08:00–14:00 or 14:00–20:00 with 2/3 weekends, and full training will be provided. Prior experience is desirable but not essential.

Qualifications

• Experience in domestic/cleaning roles is desirable.
• Willingness to learn Infection Prevention & Control basics.
• Full training will be provided to the successful candidate.

Responsibilities

• Clean clinics, treatment rooms, offices and public areas to IPC standards.
• Maintain high cleanliness levels and report faults or hazards promptly.
