This is a senior leadership position at a well-established hospital providing a broad range of specialist services across adult mental health, addiction treatment and rehabilitation, eating disorders and young people's mental health. The service delivers inpatient, day care and outpatient treatment, supporting both private and NHS patients across a diverse range of clinical pathways.

The Role

As Hospital Director, you will have overall responsibility for the effective leadership and management of the hospital, ensuring the service delivers consistently high standards of clinical care, patient experience, operational performance and regulatory compliance.

  • Supporting, developing and challenging senior managers to ensure consistently strong performance.
  • Working collaboratively with clinical, operational and corporate colleagues to deliver the hospital's strategic objectives.
  • Maintaining a strong focus on patient experience, clinical outcomes, quality and safety.
About the Hospital

The hospital's services include treatment for conditions such as depression, anxiety, OCD and PTSD, alongside specialist addiction programmes and young people's inpatient mental health services. The young people's service includes dedicated inpatient wards and an on-site hospital school.

The successful candidate will therefore be joining a complex and varied healthcare environment, requiring strong leadership across multiple clinical and operational priorities.
